Hi I am applying to Taft, St. Georges, Andover, St Andrews Deleware, and Middlesex
I was wondering if you guys think about which of the schools I have a chance at. I am applying for tenth grade.
Here are my qualifications
GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 4.3 weighted
Sports: volleyball (team manager), soccer, sailing
Awards: 2020-2021 Classics award
Other extracurriculars: started school newspaper, community service club, younglife, ambassador at my school, charity
Qualities: engaged in learning, always leading in Harknesses, eager to socialize, good writing, always willing to try something new
other factors: paying in full, currently attend private school
Subjects I take in school:
Foundations of Art
Latin II
Honors English
Honors european history
Honors biology
Algebra II
Yoga

I think your chances are pretty good, considering that you are full pay. Having said that, none of the schools are easy to get in. You should include 3-4 safeties unless you have a great local option. The additional work from this addition won’t be too much, as almost all schools use Gateway or SAO portal for applications.
Given your strong academic bent, you should consider taking the SSAT and make it easier for the AOs to understand your strength. Also, do A TON of research into the special programs/courses offered at each school, which will prep you well for interviews.

Are you taking the SSAT, and as said before if you want to have a good chance you should apply to more schools with lower admit rates.
Are you good enough at sailing (or soccer) that it would be something that helps you get into a school? Have you looked at Tabor?
For soccer to work in your favor for these schools you would need to be playing ECNL or ECNL regional level.
