Do I have a chance to get into Northeastern University with a 3.1 GPA 10th?

Hi my name is James and I have recently been searching for colleges I might want to attend. Northeastern has caught my eye and looking at my situation what do you guys think: I have a 3.1 GPA (unweighted, most likely a 3.2 weighted) from my 9th and 10th grade combined, I currently ride with a 3.8 Junior year, I have taken 2 APs and plan to take 2 more senior year, I will have played 4 years of soccer (one year V), one year of winter track, I have done around 80 hours of community service, I am a member of one club and I don’t know if this is important but I have never failed a class and I go to a Gold Star High school (it means it excels in preparing kids for college and is ranked 150ish in the country). What are my chances looking like right now?

Maybe 2 years of winter track if that makes any difference and I also do outside of school soccer but I don’t think these are very important

What is your SAT or ACT score @James.84055?

Haven’t taken them yet but I took the PSAT and I feel like I did well. Haven’t gotten my scores back though.

So you are a junior? I think NEU is a reach for you based on your GPA. If you can get your GPA to a 3.5 range at the end of Junior year, you may have a chance - IF you also get your ACT or SAT to a high score. (34+, 1450+)

It’d be good if we could have your test scores as well, but also, NU would be a good target/reach for you if you keep your grades up and can get high test scores.

guess who james
