I’m international student studying in stony brook. Actually, I want to transfer to boston college, boston university, gwu, or ucla.
My cum gpa is 3.43(4 semester)
My gpa is relatively low, but it can show my improvement because 1st semester was 2.3 2nd was 3.2 3rd was 3.85 and 4th was 4.0
Also, my new sat score is 1480
And my high school gpa is 3.94/4.0
Also, my ec is military experience for two years(us military in korea) ,school basketball varsity team.
Can I transfer to those college I told before from stony brook?

BC and UCLA are reaches. You may have a chance for BU and GW, but financial aid is stringent with international applicants.
I finished 4 semsters, so I am trying to transfer to junior.

Since your GPA isn’t super high are you going to apply to some other schools that have higher acceptance rates? Or are you just going to stay at Stony Brook if you don’t get into more prestigious schools?
I will apply some other schools for safety too. Which colleges can be a safety or dream school for me?
Your gpa satisfied the requirement of TAG for some UCs. If you consider UCI, work hard to gain 3.4 and remain that until you transfer. I think UCI is the best TAG.
Are there any classes from your first two semesters that you can re-take for higher grades? I did that and it made a huuuuuuuge difference in my GPA.
