Do I have a chance?

I’m a junior at my school and I’ve been wondering if I have a chance to get in Brown or Georgetown. I plan to do early action in one of them but I’m yet to decide. I have a 3.7 GPA (out of 4.0). I got a 28 in my ACT.

P.S . I have also done community service. I also plan to job shadow during the summer. I am Hispanic and also come from one of the poorest counties in America.

Unfortunately, unless you wrote some KICK-ASS essays, I’d say it’s unlikely.

Never as a thing as no chance! but I would go do some more things and for sure take the SAT! Never know. You might kill it :)

How many times have you taken the ACT? If just once, try again. If more, try the SAT. ACT works for some and SAT for others. If you could bring up that number I’d say you have a good chance at GU!
