Do I have a chance?

Applying (as a transfer) to:

Didn’t take the SATs, don’t need to as I will have an AA degree from my CC, which is ranked highest in the state (NJ).

Enrolled in local CC Jan. 2005, will graduate May 2006.

Current GPA 3.595, due to the fact that I got a C on an online accelerated summer Bio class. Can we say bad idea? At least I passed... :(

My school also does not give any plusses or minuses. So even though I got an 87 in Psychology, I got the same grade as a person who barely pulled an 80.

Taking 22 credits next semester to graduate in three semesters.

Classes this semester:
Honors World Lit: 1650-Present
Statistics
Meteorology
History of Modern East Asia
Child Psychology
Religion and the Human Experience
Intro to Philosophy

Phi Theta Kappa (2-yer college honors society)
Deans List
Newspaper contributor (and possibly features editor next semester)
Student Aid in the History department
Stellar recommendations and essays

Interesting personal stuff:
Hand raised three orphaned kittens
Instead of working between the time I finished my high school work and started college, I took care of my ailing grandmother because my mother could not afford to (and didn’t want to) put her in a nursing home.

bump

Anyone?

So... the 59 people who looked at this just rolled their eyes and went on their way, right?

Is it worth it to mention the ballet lessons I've been taking since I could walk and the fenching classes I've just begun? Neither of which will be on a transcript, so are they useless?

Why aren't you putting down the ballet classes if you're advanced enough and it takes up some of your time?

You know, that's a good question. I have a friend who is an admissions officer at a school in NJ and he believes anything not on the transcript is bs. Of course, he's an ass... so that should be taken into consideration.

Whatever, I'll add it.

Any other thoughts from anybody?
