Do I have a chance?

Hi, I'm new here. I'm an Indonesian and am currently attending a high school which focuses to the study of religion. I have dreamed of earning undergraduate degree in the US since I was eleven, but now I'm not sure if I have a chance of having any scholarship.
I've written many novels in English and some short stories too, and I want to study English Literature or Creative Writing in the US.
What disturbs me is: does a student like me have any chance of getting a scholarship of undergraduate program in the US? If I have, how?
I don't have any mentor or people around me who have ever earned undergraduate degree in the US.

Please help me.

The scholarships that you’re talking about are merit-based. Unless you include need-based aid as a scholarship…

How good are your grades?
Did you take the SAT/ACT?
Do you have geographical preferences?
Do you have college size preferences?

I’m sorry, but I don’t have any idea on what geographical preference is. And can you tell me what college size preference is?

I’m sorry, but I’m really new here. Please help me

We need more info mab

I haven’t taken SAT yet, but soon I will. My TOEFL iBT score is 114. My grades are well, although I haven’t been in the top 5. I’ve worked as an editor in a magazine for one and a half year.

I think that’s all for now. Please tell me what I do need to include in my info

Or, more simply put:

Do you prefer to attend a small or a large college?

Do you prefer to attend college in a particular region of the US? A college in a major city? A rural college?

Thanks Catria, for your attention

I don’t pick colleges. I just want to get any scholarship to study there

I think I would prefer in the eastern coast
