Do I have a chance?

Hi. I'm a high school junior this year. I'm an Asian, female.
Is there any Early Decision(ED) or Single-Choice Early Action(SCEA) or something for NYU?

Academics (not accurate numbers because I still have two years...)
- GPA: around 3.5 - 3.7
- SAT: around 1800
- # of AP classes in total: 10 - 11 (there's one that I only took the AP exam but not the class, because our school doesn't offer the course. Does that count?)

Extracurricular:
- 2 years at Art Club, including 1 year as a president
- National Honor Society (pending)
- National Arts Honor Society (pending)
- volunteer as an advertisement painter at YMCA (Freshman year)
- volunteer as a technological staff at my church (Junior year)
- volunteer at art museum (pending)

I actually didn't do well in my freshman and sophomore years, where I got only 3.6 - 3.7 GPAs. Even if I get 4.0 in these two years, it still can't be higher than 3.85...But I really like NYU for some reasons, so what do you think my chances would be?
Please give me some advices, about anything, like "try to do this..." will help a lot as well. Thanks a lot!

Please don’t even break a sweat! You have an incredibly high chance of getting in. NYU likes to see students that are driven to take harder courses and can still maintain an okay grade. Since your classes are much harder than normal, NYU would still want you even if you had straight B’s throughout high school as long as you took all of those AP classes. Your SAT scores are also within the perfect range for NYU.

My only recommendations are to try to perfect your SAT score, even though it’s right on point for NYU, and to get more leadership positions. A higher SAT score only increases your chances and leadership positions show integrity and attract colleges. At the same time, you want to avoid joining a ton of clubs because this shows that you aren’t putting much effort into your work and you’re just doing it to look good. Your chances are definitely much higher than mine and you’re well on your way to going to NYU, or maybe even a higher level one!

Good luck!
