<p>What are my chances of getting in the schools listed below? I'm trying to get in there, and attempting my best.</p>

<p>My SAT score is a 1580/2400 (I'm taking the SAT a third time on October 14th), and my GPA is a 3.1. My GPA is horrible. :(</p>

<p>For three years (Freshman through Junior year) I belonged to the American Computer Science League, (I have a certificate). This year I joined the FBLA.</p>

<p>I don't play any sports. And I have no idea what my class rank is.</p>

<p>I really want to get into Ramapo College of New Jersey.</p>

<p>Here's the list of colleges I want to get into:</p>

<p>Ramapo College of New Jersey
Rutgers - Newark Campus
The College of New Jersey
Fairleigh Dickinson University</p>

<p>Can I get into any of those?</p>

<p>ALSO. I also took a middle-college program through FDU last year for accounting, so I got 3 college credits. This year I'm taking three more. (Accounting 2 Honors, Statistics Honors, and Web Design). These credits are transferrable to most schools. So I'll graduate with 12 college credits. I also took AP Computer Science Junior year, but didn't pass the AP exam.**</p>

<p>dude..you have a chance...your scored around the national average..but those schools requirer higher SAT and GPA marks. Satellite campus maybe ?</p>

<p>I think you have a decent shot. I know I am retaking mine and I am also giving the ACT a go. You should do the same. I recommend that you write a spectacular essay and get great recommendations.</p>

<p>You probably get into FDU. But you will most likley NOT get into Ramapo. Your GPA is just breaking what they look for and your SAT score is low hurting your chances. Ramapo might be small but it is very competitve. You said you want to go into Accounting- if you go to Rutgers- Newark, you will need to apply to the business school again after you enter. I can tell you for a Fact that the business school does not accept accounting courses taken outside of Rutgers. Take a look at Montclair, Kean or William Paterson.</p>

<p>My senior year is far from over...it's still first marking period. So I don't know...it's...just that...arg. Ramapo was the school I wanted to go to, and I hope I can get in.</p>

<p>It is not that bad. You have to keep your options open. Look at other state schools. Good luck.</p>

<p>My SAT scores are a 1640/2400, or a 1090/1600.</p>
