First of all, I think you need your SAT. Second, it would be wise not to apply for FA coz the credit crunch right now. American can't even get student loans. Why would NYU give loans to International Student.

vector, are you a nyu student? nyu sent a e-mail back in sept. acknowledging about the credit crisis but ensued all nyu students that lenders generally are good with nyu students borrowing. while there's a credit crunch, it will be harder to get loans, not impossible. people with extremely good credit would have no problems but then again people with excellent credit have money and probably wouldnt need to borrow as much...

however, there's catch with international applicants. they are not given that much aid because they are non-us citizens.

btw it looks like it's going to be expensive for you since you need to dorm and spend money in NYC (abeit one of most expensive places to live in, especially in Manhattan) while paying for your tuition.

It's my second year. I've been in college more than one year already. I thought it was weird, not having to take the SATs, so I called them more than once, and researched over and over again and they kept telling me that if I didn't take them in high school, and if I've been in college for more than a year, then I don't need to take it.
Weird, but that's what they keep telling me.
I'm taking them anyway because Barnard requires them regardless, but NYU doesn't want them, apparently.
