And sadly....I'm Asian...so do I still have a good shot at getting into the University of Florida? Gimme a percent if you guys can, thanks a lot

In state or out of state you should be in pretty easily. I suppose you can get the ACT to 30 to be completely sure but it really isn't necessary unless you're in state. OOS: safety In state: match.

Being Asian probably won't hurt you at all at UF.

if your ooc, you're in. In state, i'd try and boast the sat by a tad bit. Some of my friends (In state) applied with very similar stats and were rejected...UF is kind of weird like that sometimes.
From what i've seen, they don't look too far beyond tests and such.

I'm not sure what a 29 is equivalent to SAT wise, but you're looking good right now. I live in Gainesville and therefore think that I have a pretty good feel of who can get in. And if you're in-state, you are no-doubt in. Also, if you take the SAT and get at least 1400 on R/M, you can do the honors program.

Thanks alot for your responses, I'm glad to know I have a good shot, just out of curiosity though, why is it harder for in state students than out of state, isn't the purpose of state schools to provide education for those in state?

And yup I'm in state- 305 is the area code for Miami LOL
