Do I Have A Shot @ UM

UW/W GPA = 3.6/4.0
SAT = 2000, SAT 2's = 650 on Math2 and Chem
Top 5% of my class of 730

Senior Schedule: AP English, AP Stats, AP Physics, AP Psych, AP Gov/Econ, Journalism....
Other AP + HL: HL Pre-Calc, HL Chemistry, HL Spanish 3, AP Calc, AP English

EC's: JV Tennis (4 years, most consistent player, co-captain), Volleyball Club (3 years, treasurer), Sign Language Club (3 years), Journalism (2 years, features editor), Foreign Foods Club (2 years, vice president), Key Club (4 years, vice president), Relay 4 Life (5 years, big thing bc 2 of my immediate family members have cancer), Recycling Club, CSF (all of high school, vice president)

I live and California and I'm wondering if I can get into UM.....also is there a chance I can get a good scholarship or good financial aid bc I don't want to pay 45 grand a year when I could pay 20 thousand a year at UCSB or UCSD

Yeah, you'll get in no problem. Scholarship wise, my gues would be the 1/2 scholarship (remember, its only the % of tuition, does not count room and board) and you might be able to get the 3/4 scholarship depending on the applicant pool next year. You need to get your SAT I to 1400 for the 3/4 scholarship (that doesn't include the new writing sectio which Miami did not consider this year, so I don't know if they will consider it next year). if they do consider it and you extrapolate it out, you would probably need somewhere around 2050-2100 on all three sections of the SAT I to qualify for the 3/4 tuition. But you have a strong schedule, great class standing, and good other stats and EC's, so you could probably get it. With the 3/4 scholarship, you would be on the hook for around $16-17K per year after the scholarship is taking off tuitio, that includes everything.
