<p>cum gpa = 4.37 with class rank 58 out of 500
9th=3.8
10th=4.3
11th=4.9 (all honors, 2 AP w/extra class before school)
12th= n/a (5 AP)</p>

<p>sat scores: 740v 710m 700w</p>

<p>varsity cross country/track = all-district, all-region, all-academic (state qualifier)</p>

<p>violin (4 yr school involvement) = regional orchestra qualifier </p>

<p>community service done through YMCA leadership outreach program
includes internship (hospital volunteer), 75 hours of service, project (benefit show for school supplies) every year
officer for 2 years in 4 year program</p>

<p>church involvement - youth group officer equivalent 2 years, children's ministry teacher 4 years</p>

<p>essays talk about passion for running, messing up severely 9th grade and overcoming those failures (wrong friends, reacting badly to pressure, etc.)</p>

<p>maybe .003 at an ivy.</p>

<p>those very low SATs won't help.</p>

<p>i want to go pre-med cause im really interested in physiology - ive been doing research projects on human foot biomechanics throughout high school</p>

<p>you guys are nuts. She has a solid shot at UVA - the ivies might be harder to get... but I wouldn't rule her out.</p>
