<p>This isn't a simple chances thread, I really made a mistake on my app. I was looking at the pdf of part 1 (which I submitted early october), and it said that my mother was dead. Yet, under it, it had her current job, and that she is still enrolled in college. But it still says my mother is dead, when she's not.</p>
<p>Do I have any chances now, and is their anyway of fixing it?</p>

<p>You could send a letter to the admissions office correcting the information. This is done frequently and is not a problem. (Note that I am saying to send a letter rather than to send an email – the admissions office gets a huge volume of email every day, and, in my opinion, email is not the best way to convey important information to them. You could also call or fax, but at this point, writing a letter would be fine.) The letter will be added to your file.</p>
<p>They’re not going to reject you for what basically amounts to a typographical error.</p>
<p>Your mother, on the other hand, may have some sharp words for you when she finds out you’ve tried to kill her off. :)</p>
