Okay, I slacked off during my freshman and sophomore years of high school and here I am with a 2.7gpa (horrendous, I know!) at the beginning of junior year. I've tried to calculate everything and determined that if over the upcoming summer of 2015 I retake all of the classes I screwed up in and do extremely well during this school year I can have at least a 3.3gpa at the beginning of senior year. I know, however, IUB wants a 3.5. Sigh. As far as the SATs go I got a 1900, but did not and will not be taking the ACT. I've taken honors classes and AP and will continue to do so during senior year. I have a lot of volunteer hours under my belt, was on student council freshman year, and a large part of yearbook/journalism staff as an elective, but no other sports/club involvement at school. So, honestly, do I have any chance at all? Is there anything I can do to boost my chances? Thanks!
