do I have any chance???

Hi It is my first time writing a post on this website…
I got an email from questbridge and ask me apply for college match.
Im high school senior and I was curious if it worth it or not…
oh and please understand my grammar mistakes Im an immigrant from korea about 3 years ago.

I am kind of hesitating for applying because I dont really have much extracurricular activities or special backgrounds.
my unweighted gpa is about 3.85 and weighted is about 4.3. My sat score is about 1900. Im in 10 percent for the class rank. I took korean subject test and math and got 800 on both.
I think our family income is around $50,000 for 4 people. so it is not that extreme as other people. Im the first college applicant in our family.

Only thing I can rely on is the fact that I had hard time because It is hard to adapt to the different environment.

Do you guys think I have a chance? It would be great if you guys grade on scale 1 to 10. Thank you for reading my post! (:

Maybe a 4.

I don’t think you can lose anything by trying.

The only thing is that depending on where you live, you should double-check that your family’s income qualifies.

1900 is also on the low side - do you intend to retake the SAT? Also - if you have grammar trouble, you need a teacher to mentor you and help you with your esays.

(PS - taking a subject test in your native language means zilch, same with taking an AP test in your native language.)

thank you so much! yes i do intend to retake the SAT. I do have a english tutor and he’s helping me with my essays.

Im waiting for more comments! thank you

@koreannbb You seem to have a good chance. U should improve your SAT to around 2000+. And hi korean immigrant, i’m a Vietnamese immigrant 2 years ago:D We do love your K-pop. Do u have any extracurricular activities?

@fsociety haha I checked it too lately. I didn’t apply to quest bridge but yeah thank you for giving me comments. I like K-pop too (:
