Do I have any chances?

I hate SAT! It frustrates me so much!!
I'm going to be a senior next year.
My overall GPA is 4.06 W & over 400 hrs of volunteering & pres/VP of red cross club but my SAT score is horrible!!!!!!!!

For June 2008 I got, CR-450 Math-640 WR-570
total of 1660 :(

I currently working VERY hard to bring up my score!!
but do i still have chances for colleges like UC's or uop or any other colleges?
I worked very hard to maintain my GPA with all the vigorous AP and Honors classes.
If I raise it to1800 or 1900, is that good enough?
I'm so scared to take Oct SAT.

I know my score will raise, but I'm still curious about my "current" status with 1660 :( please help me..

anything above these scores will be good for these UCs

berkeley - 2150/2200
LA - 2100/2150
UCI- 1800/1850
UCD - 1900
UCSD - 2000

like i said these are not AVERAGE sat scores. these are what would be good.

Prepare and focus. You can bring up your scores dramatically with the right preparation. If you focus on the task at hand you should be able to get even higher than a 1900.

There are many threads that give very good advice on good review books, so look around the forums for some tips. I highly recommend Grubers to increase your math score, but for CR, just read CONSTANTLY and try to retain the most relevant details in the least amount of time possible. Practice makes perfect.
good luck!

Might I suggest Hundreds of free practice questions for standardized tests at majortests.com It helped me get 2260 on the SATs if that's considered an awesome enough score.

consider taking the ACT, in addition to retaking the SAT.

is there any online practice for the ACT except march2success & the ACT website?
