I messed up on my first semester of junior year, do I still have a chance?

I got a 3.3 my first semester of freshmen year and a 3.8 second semester. During sophomore year, I got a 3.5 both semesters, and now during junior year I got my lowest gpa yet a 3.0 with my first semester grade as a C+ for adv algebra and trig. I haven't taken SATs or ACTs yet. But so far are my chances low to get into UCSD (I really want to go to UCSD), UC Berkeley, UC Davis? I am currently in 4 clubs at school, and planning on doing some volunteer work and an internship over the summer. I'm aiming to get a 4.0 or at least a 3.8 during my second semester. Also should I take the SATs or ACTs or both? One more thing, I am only currently taking one AP course and one honors course.
Thank You.

Unfortunately, your chances are pretty low for getting into those UC’s due to the fact that your GPA is quite low for competitive schools like the ones you listed. However, don’t worry, your life isn’t over. There are still other great colleges/universities besides UC’s and I recommend looking into them. Good Luck!

Would you recommend any good colleges, where I would have a better chance? I appreciate your help. Thank you!
