those sats need to go WAY up to consider emory, cornell, usc

right man. but for the colleges u specified.i think u have decent (greator chance of getting accepted unless u dont mess up with the other parts ..)
If u can get a 2000 in sat with a 1350+ combined in two sat 2 subject ones u are in i believe in ones u listed.......

However for emory and cornell.......way way up scores are needed. ..
Best Of luck
:):)

so.. should i not even consider emory or cornell for my early actions?

Thank you very much for the Help^_^

chances are low whether u apply early or regular. unless of course you raise ur SAT scores by quite a bit. ur other stats don't seem very outstanding to compensate for that.

..and I know these colleges offer early decision... but early action? i dunno. and only internationals who don't require aid apply ED to Cornell.

My advice is not to apply Early DECISION to any uni/colleges if you don't have enough money for the first year. Or the entire four years. And I don't think Cornell and Emory has Early ACTION, but ED as aaron56 said.

I think for UCLA and UMich-Ann Arbor your SAT's might be a little on the low side but that depends also on what your math/verbal scores are. I think writing will not matter that much since it's shown by your TOEFL (unless you're exempted) and your transcript.

You're not taking AP English or Math/Calc?

Good luck!
