Do I have, like, any chance?

I never really bothered looking into Udub until a few days ago, and it’s actually amazing and moving up really high on my list. It sounds like OOS admissions are extremely selective, so I’m curious as to what you think my chances are.

Thanks in advanced.

Thanks lots.

Honestly? Looks like you'll have no problem to me.

Good luck with the rest of your junior year!

yeah- just keep your grades up and apply early!

I wasn't too impressed with the AP scores, but the other scores look solid enough for me.
I can't say if you'll immediately get into your desired major, but you'll definitely get a premajor admission.

Like what ahsie said, your AP scores are a bit iffy, but other than that, it looks like you'll probably get in!

If it reassures you in any way, my friend who's also OOS had similar scores/GPA to you and got into the UW as a Bioengineering major (extremely selective) so I'm sure you'll get in(:
Good luck!

Things look great and you can choose which AP scores to send (meaning UW wouldn't have to see your Bio score!). But, like, the title of your thread undermines your intelligence.

Did they change that this year or is it something I never knew? Last year, when I was finished with my last AP exam, I did bubble in which school you want to send the WHOLE report to and the collegeboard will do it for you, but from my knowledge, you weren't allowed to select which scores you wanted to.

Though..., now that you mention it, I do remember hearing something similar to that.

To withhold AP scores from schools, you have to pay Collegeboard a certain amount of money per test per school. I can't remember how much it is.

Last trimester my grades took a blast (It’s called taking too many AP’s) and my GPA plummeted to… 3.27 I think. I failed pre-calc (retaking it right now, had to drop AP Euro) and got mostly D’s and C’s in everything else. My trimster GPA was a shining 1.1.

My weighted is still 3.58 though. And my ACT is now 32.

Are my chances ruined?

And are they understanding about things like overchallenging yourself, if you address it in the essays?

UW doesn’t care about your weighted gpa… At all.

lol, I know. Unfortunately.
