Do i have to call to waive my Toefl requirement?

I made a 287, but i'm afraid it won't reach tulane before dec. 15th. I made a 650 on verbal, so i can waive my toefl requirement. do i have to call tulane or do they just assume if my toefl scores don't come?

It is always best to call or email if you are in doubt. And get a name if you call.
Good luck

CD

Beramod, just call the admission office and to find out.You applying as an international?I am international as well.Where are you from?Your verbal score looks neater than mine, haha.I got a 800 on Maths but only 550 on Verbal.

hehe, just a tab neater. I only made a 720 on math and 790 on IIC. SAT's aren't for me. I'm from Korea, but lived in the us for 8 unconsecutive years, still don't have a greencard. grrrr. BTW, i gave up on Tualne because they didn't give me an answer in one month, which they promised. So i'm dumping Tulane. Hope I get into University of Washington or UT-Austin. GL to you!

UT-Austin?Well,big state schools make you feel lost sometimes.I considered going to UIUC at first, but changed my mind later.Well,to be honest,I don't know if I made the correct choice.Well, time will tell,I bet.

UT is known for long lines and bureaucracy. Yes, their admissions office is very quick for instate students because over 70% will be accepted under the 10% rule and the only decision is which major to admit them to. Private colleges, in our experience are much more accomodating than their state counterparts. But good luck to you beramod.
