hey guys I just ended my first quarter as a freshman at a UC and my friends are saying that I have to do something with FAFSA. I logged in and it just says "Congratulations, your FAFSA was successfully processed. "
but then the deadline for something is July. Idk what’s going on? do I have to sign up again or something? what am I missing 
After Jan 1st, you will have to fill out FAFSA for the 2016-17 school year.

Also my parents received an email about creating an FSA ID. but I already have one… do I make another one? :o
You need a FAFSA ID…and one of your parents needs one.
If either of you had the old PIN, you need to change to the username/password format they are using now. You need to do this…and one of your custodial parents needs to do this…you won’t be able to complete a new FAFSA for 2016-2017 without this done.
