Do I have to take the Math II subject test?

I'm applying to Harvard, Yale and a few other ivies and was wondering whether, for someone who plans to major in biochemistry/pre-med, it is required to take the Math II test.
I'm worried I might not get a particularly good score (despite having taken the most advanced math classes available -.-... i don't know why).

Thanks!

They don't require Math II.
But some science based schools do require a Math subject test.

good to know. i might as well take it. thank you, anhtimmy!

I think it is recommended so try it. It has a good curve, so that's a plus. Also make sure you have taken PreCalc, odn't make the same mistake like I did....

make sure you're prepared for it....i took pre-calc and did well in it..yet i got a 570 on the test...lol....now im screwed :(...i need to either study and retake..or take math 1 lol

^wow, that class must have been easy? or you took the test a year or so after you took the class?

no i took the test right after the class, lol, its not just me, another kid from my class who was just as good as i was if not better in precalc got a 620 or so....yeah i guess it wasnt a very good class if the the best students get around 600 on math 2, so now i have to reteach myself the material if i want any hope of getting a good score, which is important considering i might apply to princeton and harvard.....and that 570 isnt gonna sit well with them

consequently, i took the us history sat 2 right after my AP class, which had an amazing teacher and i learned so much in that class...= 790 :)

Whee! I'm going to purchase the Barrons book this afternoon. Hopefully that'll straighten out any discrepancies. Thank you!
