Do I need Financial Statements?

I was not sure where I should put this topic, but...

I'm not applying for need-based financial aid. Do I need to send any kind of financial statements to any of these colleges? I am an international student applying to...

Boston College
Columbia
Duke
Georgetown
Harvard
Northwestern
Princeton
Stanford
U Chicago
U Penn
Williams
Yale

Please help! :)

As an international, you need to provide financial proof for your visa. You can’t get an education visa without showing that you have full economic support while you’re in the US.

this is for ANY school in the US. If you can’t show financial support for your education, living, and personal expenses, then no visa.

Thanks, mom2collegekids.

But some colleges require that form to be sent along with the Regular Decision material before the ‘New Year’ deadlines. (such as Bentley College, as a friend of mine told me). Is that the case for any of these institutions?

Every school lists their application requirements ad deadlines.
For instance the Columbia website has this

Which refers to the Certification of Finances you have to provide in order to get a visa.

You would need to check with each school for their requiremets. There is no way we would know the answer for all the schools you listed.

Since you have to send the info at some point, why not just make all your copies and send them all before Jan 1st? It’s better to be early than late.
