Hey, I’m thinking about applying to Tish Drama programme but I’m not the best dancer I’m pretty un-coordinated. Do you think this would be a major problem? And if so would you suggest I start to participate in dance lessons? Thanks
It’s always a good idea to get some dance training, just as a way to increase your skill set, physical presence, control of your body, etc. However, if you are a very good actor I don’t think it will matter much, except possibly for the musical theater studio. (Is that what you want? If so, you should probably check out the musical theater forum.)
No, lack of dance ability won’t prevent you from being accepted to Tisch.
