Do I need Toefl test to transfer?

I am planning to transfer to MSU after my first of community college. My high school GPA is 3.95. Also my SAT is 1170 and the English part is 500. I know thier minimum requirement is 510.
My first year courses include English composition I and II. I am wondering if I need to take TOEFL test if I transfer at the end of the first year.
Or is it any thing like don’t need Toefl test after studying in U.S. 4 years?

If you plan to transfer after your first full year, your High School GPA and Test Scores won’t matter at all. As long as you have over 28 credits and over a 3.0 GPA by the time you’re expected to enroll, you’re in. 28 credits might seem like a bit much, but it’s 14 per semester which is a fairly light load actually. Hope this helps! It’s extremely easy to get into MSU as a transfer student.
