Do I Stand A Chance?? (LMU/Chapman Film Production)

Hi Everyone,
I've been trying to avoid posting this for a while, but I can't help myself. I applied to Dodge Film Production (chapman) and LMU's film production, and I really want to know if I even stand a fighting chance.

Grade wise I'm lacking... I'm around a 3.2-ish N/W and 3.3-3.4 Weighted, which is awful for most of these schools. I have an ACT score of 26, which is right about on-par with the schools averages.

Despite my academic fallthroughs, I have quite a bit to make upfor it. Firstly, I am in a super select award-winning Film Academy at my highschool. It's nationally recognized and is one of the very few of its kind in the country. It's Junior and Senior years, and is English, History and an elective Documentary Filmmaking class. The academic standard of the program is skyrocketed compared to normal classes, as we learn what normal students learn in a whole semester in a half semester... the second half of both semesters is spent making professional quality documentaries. The grades across the board in the program are significantly lower because of this. My letters of Rec are from the History and Documentary teachers in the program, and my HS counselor wrote about the grade drops in her letter.

Also, I founded and have ran a fundraiser for the Make A Wish Foundation for 5 years called the Skate 4 a Cause. I wont bore you with details but I will say we have raised over $60,000 in total and the event has directed completely by me and my friend for all 5 years. I also have a letter of reccomendation from the Chairman/Head of the Greater Bay Area Make A Wish adressing this which was sent to both colleges.

Okay... I'm sorry i wrote you all an essay but I needed to give the full perspective. It may be alot of work to read, but think of it this way: I typed the whole thing on my iPhone. Now THAT is alot of work! :)

Thanks in advanced,
