Hey, so overall I have a pretty decent profile. My GPA is around a 3.9, with only a handful of grades below an A. SAT score is a 1550, with 750 R&W and 800 M, single sitting. Although my ACT isn’t spectacular (32 both times) since I didn’t study for it, I believe it is still within range. However, my SAT Subject tests are all terrible. I took the Bio-E exam back in freshman year with a little preparation and only got a 650, and didn’t retake that one. At the end of my junior year, I took math level 2 and literature without studying and got a 700 and 680 respectively. I retook both those tests in the beginning of my senior year, and I attempted to study, but school got in the way so I couldn’t. I ended up doing even worse that time, with a 680 math and 650 lit. I know that my other standardized testing scores are all pretty good and that subject tests are only one part of my application, but still it bothers me.
If it matters, I’m deciding between applying to the College as maybe an Econ or Government major or applying to SFS.
Thanks!
