I'm from Canada and my first choice is Northwestern.
But due to my crazy schedule for drama ( including rehearsals and other major ec's), my junior yr marks are pretty low (according to a conversion table, it should be an average of around midhigh-80s in US terms, which is pretty low for NU. ) and will take a princeton review SAT course and should be able to boost to the 2000+/- 50 range.

A point to note is that I'm intending to double major in Psych and theatre, and that I am doing AP psych independently this year. As for theatre, I do have a pretty packed resume, my school have shows that involves many professionals in the industry( and i'm in most, if not all, of them) and that I'm writing a musical and it will be staged for a "workshop" reading kinda thing be4 the year ends, and will be on next winter. On top of that, I'm doing the "competitive"(according to another post on CC) theatre program at Tisch in NYU this summer. My EC's may look pretty exhaustive, but they are all at the highest level (i.e. president of my school's chapter of DECA, president of Arts Council etc..), and will they give me the benefit of the doubt given that the majority of my time are spent on those areas? (I'm just passionate about many things, but it came down to the matter of time: i never do it to pad resumes or something...)

As well, the only "low" marks I have are the sciences, but psych major is pretty "soc. science or Arts" ( at least that i just want a BA w/ psych&theatre majors for now)...And that my course load is pretty heavy(compared to other Canadian students, but not as crazy as the most ppl in the states who do almost a dozen of APs ) which includes english, intro calculus, ap chemistry, bio, drama, ap stats and econ (AP Chinese and Psychology: independent study);and will take ap english, ap bio, ap chem, ap economics(both), philosophy and drama in my senior year.

By the way, is it possible to get into somewhere as a drama major and switch back into the soc. sci in the soph year? Any comments on my chances?
I believe my senior marks will be substantially higher, but are they not relly useful as junior marks (the ones that i screwed up) are the most important piece of information for the adcoms?
