Do I still have a chance at transferring into UCB / UCLA for Computer Science?

Sorry if this is the wrong section to post this in, pretty new to CC.

Here’s how I’m doing so far:
Composition and Reading A
Reading, Writing, and Research A+
Philosophy - Critical Thinking A

Appreciation of Dance A+
World History A
Intro to Sociology A
Physical Anthropology A
Humanities A

Intro to C++ A
Intermediate Programming C++ B+
Data Structures/Abstraction C++ A- (most likely)
Intro to Java A+

Calculus II B
Calculus III A (most likely)

Physics B (most likely)
(the prerequisite for Mechanics)

Courses I’ll be taking this summer : Intro to Python, Discrete Math
fall : Calculus IV, Introduction to x86 Processor Assembly Language, Physics (Mech),
Intermediate Python

I’m planning on applying this fall. If I manage to get all A’s from now on, would I still have a chance at transferring to UCB / UCLA for CS? If not, what are my best options?

UC Transfer admit rates by major and GPA:

@Gumbymom

Thanks for the quick reply!
I’ve taken a look at that, but I’m not sure if GPA really means much here. For instance, I feel that my GPA is “artificially boosted” by GE classes. I haven’t done so well in classes that actually matter, such as math. So even if I do raise my GPA high enough, would it matter if I didn’t do so well in some of the core classes for my major?

“For transfer applicants, the degree of preparation for the major and the college GPA are crucial considerations; strong preference is given to students ready for upper division coursework in their major. Some majors at the transfer level are highly competitive, and preparedness and GPA are even more important for applicants to these majors.”

I think UCLA looks at major GPA very closely. If they’re talking about preparedness I think they mean how many major related classes you’ve taken and how well you’ve done in them.
