I am a sophomore in high school, and 1 semester i got a D+ in chemistry...2d semester is ending and I think I might get a D or a C-. Next yr i am planning on taking it again and aiming for an A or possibly a B. Would the Ds cancel? One of the reasons why I got a D in chem was because of my classes, AP Euro, Latin, Alg 2, English H, and I also was busy with community service, and my company I am starting...I know its bad , but do I still have a chance? What can I do in the future to override my bad grade in chem?

Just retake it next year at the same school. Retaking it will replace the ‘D’ and colleges will not see it. Also, make sure you don’t get anymore ‘Ds’ in the future. A ‘D’ that you do not replace on time will automatically make you not eligible for a UC even if you have superb grades otherwise.
