Do I still have a chance?

So i'm just going to get straight to the point. I did really bad my freshmen year in high school, and also slipped my sophmore year. Freshmen year was a joke for me, but i tried to get it together my sophmore year by taking all honors classes. I don't know if colleges care about that, but i did good except in my honors chemistry class...I received a D my second semester. So i'm a junior now and i haven't been doing as well as i wanted to, averaging a 3.75 in both semesters so far and my circ. GPA is a 3.51...badd. I'm in all AP classes this year except i had to substitute for AC history because i have to retake chemistry. I've only been in two clubs, and I should've started my volunteering hours sooner, but i just recently got into my local hospital's volunteering program, which takes months to get into.
So my question is...(I know this seems like a longshot) will i be able to get into a school like UCLA or an NYU if I pretty much have a perfect senior year? i know a 3.51 circ. GPA is really bad, but if i was aiming for a 2100+ SAT score, 2 months in a volunteering program, get like a 4.5 GPA with all AP classes next year, join lots of clubs or even create one, and play varsity for 4 years on the tennis team, would i have a shot?
Also, I only have 4 classes at my high school junior and senior year because i'm taking 2 classes each semester at my local J.C.

They’ll probably look for improvement, so if you had a bad freshman year (it’s hard getting used to high school), they’d look better than if you had a bad sophomore or junior year.

colleges like to see improvements, which is what you seem to have been doing, so that’s a plus. you mentioned that the volunteering program take months to get into. does that mean it’s difficult to get into? because if so, colleges will give that some thought as well. in my opinion, creating a new club and having one of the 4 main positions (pres, vp, sec, or treas) is better than just flat out joinging clubs if you don’t have a position in those clubs.

here i’m speaking from experience: i haven’t really been active in the clubs i’m in, one because of time conflicts and two just because i wan’t really motivated. i created a club with me as the president, however, and i think that was definitely a great exprerience and my main extracurricular activity. 3. 84 non-weighted gpa, 2130 sat from 1 seating, sat 2: 800, 800, 740, 680. i got accepted to 9 of the 12 colleges i applied to.
