I am a U.S citizen that is not living in the US. I studied IGCSE in secondary school. Do I need to take the SAT test and TOEFL test if i want to apply for undergraduate program in the US ?
Look at the requirements for schools you are interested in. Most schools require either the SAT or the ACT. Some schools also require SAT subject tests.
For US citizens living abroad, pay special attention to see if you are considered an international student, and if the TOEFL is required.
Each school should list their testing requirements and deadlines on their website. If your situation is not covered, you should be able to contact an Admissions officer.
Good luck!
If you studied IGCSEs, most selective universities would expect ALevels.
At universities that don’t, whether you need either SAT or TOEFL, or both, would be indicated in each individual university’s website.
In addition, even if the SAT isn’t required, scholarships heavily depend on Sat scores, so if you need scholarships you’ll have to send your SAT scores.
