Hey all,
I was just curious if it’s common practice for interviewers to follow up with all their interviewees after results come out. Or do they only follow up with certain interviewees they dislike/like?

In terms of graduate school, my girlfriend had interviews for MassArt, UPenn Design, and Harvard GSD and they all followed up with her after she was accepted
@philbegas Thanks for the insight! Are interviewers notified of your acceptance?
In case anyone’s curious on why I’m curious: my interviewer followed up with me and I was 99% sure that he wanted nothing to do with me after that egregious interview.
Some colleges ask interviewers to follow-up, others don’t.
At the schools I applied to, all the (alumni) interviewers requested I let them know of my result as soon as I hear, because apparently the school doesn’t notify them until a few days after the fact. That being said, they are encouraged to reach out to accepted students in an attempt to convince the student to attend said college.
