Do LD Accomodations in college carry over to Graduate School?

My DD, a rising college Junior, has LD accommodations at her college which allows her extra time on tests (which she has to take in a special room in the LD center). The extra time is the only accomodation that she has. Her last complete psychological evaluation was two years ago (her senior year of high school). She would like to apply for a graduate school next year (most probably in pharmacy...4 years to a pharmD degree). Do graduate schools give accomodations in general? Will she need to be reevaluated and have new paperwork done?

They have to give accommodations by law if she qualifies as still having a disability.

I’m running into this problem now. I’m currently applying to grad school (after graduating, so a total of two years between graduating undergrad and starting grad school). I believe the standard is that the evaluation is valid for 5 years. For the GRE, the evaluation must be no more than 5 years old. For one of the schools I am applying to, I noticed that they require the evaluation to be current within the past 3 years. So, it sounds like you’ll just have to figure it out when your daughter gets accepted to grad school.

a lot of people want evaluations that are 3 years old or less. a lot of times college students can get retested for a cheaper fee. I got retested and because it was a graduate student admistering it and being observed by a psych and because i was a student it was like 150 dollars or something. that is a lot cheaper than some places. it takes a while to get appointments for retesting but if you are considering it i would just set up an appointment now. it doesn’t hurt to have a current assessment and there are sometimes certain tests that the gre want to see so i was told to tell the person giving the test that i would be taking the gre so that they would give me the right tests.
