Do my AP scores look sketchy?

Hello!

I’ve just received my AP scores; now I’m wondering which ones I should report and if some look iffy.

Here are my past scores:
9th grade: AP Human Geography (4)
10th grade: AP European History (3)
11th grade: AP US History, AP English Language and Composition, AP Calculus AB, AP Statistics (all 5s)

I’m a little worried as I have received As in all of the classes listed, but some of my scores (APHG and Euro) may hint at a bit of grade inflation. Not to make excuses, but I had to take the make-up Euro test and had a headache the entire test (I do deserve the grade I received).

Another concern is that I took AP Physics 1 this year as well, but I opted out of taking the AP test (I had a bad start to second semester; I ended up receiving an A). I’m afraid that colleges will think I failed that AP test instead.

(Side note: I plan on majoring in Env Studies. Would not taking the AP Physics 1 exam affect my admission?)

Should I report my Euro score of 3 and, in your opinion, do my scores look a bit sketchy compared to my grades in the respective classes? Secondly, do you think not taking the AP Physics 1 exam looks a bit iffy as well?

No, and with a 60% failure rate, it was probably OK that you did not take.

No, it hints that freshman and sophomores, with exceptions, are not ready (nor should they be in general) to take college classes. That said, a 4 is a great score. A 3 is a good score, but everybody has a bad test day (but do not try to explain that on your application.

It depends on where you are applying. I really doubt it will impact you if you report it or if you don;t report it.
