<p>All of my siblings have gone to great schools, Dartmouth, Amherst and Brown. When i am applying to colleges will they take into consideration where my siblings went to school? I know on the common app you have to fill out that information but do you think it will ever come up as a positive factor when deciding wether or not to accept me? just curious.</p>
<p>Unless you are applying to the same schools your siblings are going to, they most likely will not take it into consideration. It doesn’t really say much about you other than that you and your siblings are bright students. As far as I know, it is not really a factor at all, unless , like I said before, your sibling is at that school. But even then, its a very very small factor compared to the rest of your application.</p>
