Do nonresidents enter unweighted GPAs on UC schools application?

My child is a nonresident. When filling out the application, does she enter her unweighted GPA in the academic section? Will the UC schools do their own calculations?

Non-residents enter in the grades listed on the transcript. For OOS applicants, only AP and IB courses are considered in the UC weighting system, so you select either Regular/AP/IB from the drop down menu for each course. The UC’s will calculate the weighted GPA based on the academic history entered.

For the honors course, we (non-resident) still select regular?

Yes you select Regular. UC’s do not recognize OOS Honors courses as weighted courses.
