My school's giving away old prep books (from 2001 to 2005). I grabbed some AP/SAT I/SAT II prep books. I know the differences between the new sat and the old sat; is it okay to practice math and CR with them? or should i get new books

Anything from CB is useful.

the tricks on the AP and SAT remain the same over time, the questions simply change. even if the material is not completely consistent with the way it is now, the old prep books are definitely not going to hurt you, especially in terms of having lots of practice.

I know it’s not going to hurt me, but is it worth the time working through it? The SAT is next month, I want the prep that’s most helpful to me.

If you haven’t used the BB, I would go with that first. Otherwise, I wouldn’t hesitate to use older books.

BB? What’s that?

^It’s the Official SAT Study Guide from the College Board. It’s a big blue book that’s why it’s called BB (Blue Book)
