^^ Lol

We only say that's spot on to the T!

Spot on jolly ol' chap!
Ok, no I have never met any (Americans, or English people for that matter) that say spot on.

I think of it as, like, '60s slang, not British.

I've never heard it for 60's slang.

HMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Well, since I live here in the SF Bay Area, California, we have our own unique slang... for example, everyone here says "hella" and yes, I am aware no one else says it, even the rest of California. We also say stuff like "flossy", "boss", "beast", "go hard/stupid/dumb", etc. There's a whole bunch of slang.

Everyone here says hella...

Really? Where do you live? I've never heard "hella" used anywhere else besides here.

I've said "spot on" as a joke, but srsly? Nahhh!

Idaho. :D ^

It's kind of common, but not overwhelmingly used.

nope 10char

Oh yeah, it's said here in India

my teachers say it....

I say it. I didn't think it was all that noteworthy...

no, not at all.

No .

"Spot on" sound like you made a basketball shot or hit a target, but it is not slange....I don't think. However, I will make it my duty(Rob snickers) to make it more polpular...just for the OP.

i love brit. phrases..i always say oi, and stuff... they're so catchy..and no one really uses them so it's all your own.

oh, btw, i agree with most of the other posts.that's rarely ever used.
