Have you ever slipped internet talk into a real-life convo.?

Like 'lol', or 'OMG'.
I used to, but then I recorded myself talking to my friends, heard myself, and I stopped.
Where I'm from, I've heard a lot of people say 'lol'

It's not that common over here, but once in a while, people do say "jay-kay" or "oh-em-gee" and stuff. Personally, I just find that funny cause it's like a bunch of robots speaking computer language.

haha one of my good friends says W T F, and he's serious. I find it really funny. Some girls say jk a lot which gets on my nerves.

very true, I know a lot of girls that say jk a lot to in real life. It doesn't bother me so much but it makes them look a little bit stupid.

I say "w.t.f. mate?" sometimes...without the australian accent (because I'm so bad at it)...but other than that, I dont use computer language in real life.

me and my friends say LOL, JK, BRB sometimes as a joke, its really funny when you say it to someone who doesnt know your joking

yeah, lots of girls go JAYYYY!KAYYYYY!! after either saying soemthign stupid or an insult. It's really obnoixious and annoying.

damn straight, Eggarolls!!!

Do the girls at your school say "jusstt kiddinggggggggg" a lot? I find that really annoying!

yes they do and yes it is very annoying!

I like how it's guys posting about girls saying all this stuff.

i'd say about sophomore year was when a bunch of the stereotypical "flake" girls were doing that...they'd just randomly break out in JK's and LOL's. I'm not even kidding, those girls were completely the "the lights are on but no one's home" type...I was incredibly glad that they got over it

and now, there is a comment from a girl about how annoying it is that girls do the JK and LOL thing in real life...

Wait, wait, wait... people actally do that?! Jesus

i say "lol" but just as a joke with friends or w/e

I did once and my friend was like "Did he just say B-R-B?" and I turned back and was like "haha yeah!" cause I was joking but she didn't hear me so I looked at her and she had this look that said "wow he's such a f uckinging loser" so I decided not to do it again.

Yeah I was a sophomore back then. Figures.

This girl in my physics class says 'lol' all the time and it sounds so strange..
I dont say 'lol' or 'omg' or 'jk' because it sounds so.. i dont know.. artificial? i dont know.

"yeah, lots of girls go JAYYYY!KAYYYYY!! after either saying soemthign stupid or an insult. It's really obnoixious and annoying."

That made me crack up.
I would sooo do that to someone I hated.

Me: You are fug, and nobody likes you.
Them: ...what?
Me: JAYYYY! KAYYY!

ahaha, I like that, you should do that when you know what you're doing, not as a normal part of everyday speech.

I do use internet talk in real life, but I'm really really specific with who i use it with. Its mostly with people that I talk a lot to on AIM and such.

Virtually never, although such abbreviations are known to pop up in my in-class essays.
