I've always wondered. Sorry if it's an awkward question. I suppose this is for non-ethnic people. Do you notice it at all? Do you want to reach out and squeeze it? Do you find it insanely attractive or repulsive? Would you not date someone because they had an afro?

Boys with afros look better
girls, nah

I kind of started laughing when I saw the threat, it’s just so random.

Any kind of crazy hair that stands out is fun. If you’re at a party, it’s a good way to get girls to come up to you, they might want to touch it and see how it feels.

I think it really depends on the attitude you have with the fro. You have to have an ego that matches the fro, otherwise it looks awkward. Otherwise you’d be like that guy in high school who wears the outrageous Hawaiian shirts, but sits in the corner and reads comics all day.

When I had a fro girls were constantly touching it, running their hands through it, massaging my scalp, etc. The fro itself was a pain in the ass, but that was definitely the best part of having one.

As long as you wash it, I guess it isn’t a big deal.

Agreed with the poster above. I hate it when I am standing next to a guy/girl with an Afro, and it smells like dandruff and grease.

no …

I wish I had one! :(

Haha, I think its just a subliminal at Blacks. Gotta love CC.

hmm…depends on where the afro is i guess

Teanna Taylor. Mmmhh

Er… I don’t see why they would.

But mohawks do freak me out a bit.

Indifferent. It’s like every other hair. Whether or not it’s attractive depends on the person.

Why would an afro freak people out? A hair style is a person’s choice (although sometimes it is their parents choice if their parents are helping to pay for tuition). I am a white male and used to have dreadlocks. I loved them. But, my parents made me cut them off before they would help contribute for college. I never saw anybody freaked out about them.

Mmm. Well-kept dreadlocks are incredibly dope. I’ve almost locked my hair but the maintenance is tiresome.
