Do RD and EA applicants get the same consideration for merit aid?

I would apply EA but I’m planning on taking the November SAT. Will I be less likely to receive merit scholarships? I also have a 3.9 GPA and 32 ACT, but I’m hoping to do a bit better on the SAT. Thank you!!
