Do Rice Pre-Meds Get into Top Medical Schools? (say top 10-20)
(aka - is it a "feeder school" for top med schools?)
Are there any statistics about where Rice premeds are accepted/go?

I don’t believe Rice technically has “pre-med” as a degree program. But yes, those who apply to the top medical schools are accepted. Rice has a fantastic program with immense opportunities.

The saying is that if you get into Rice and put in effort while you’re here, you’re getting a med school. There’s no guarantees on an 'elite" med school, but you’ll be a doctor if you want to.

That said, Rice definitely sends people to great schools. Recent grads have gotten into Duke, Hopkins, Harvard, and I personally know an advisor who got into Vandy and UT Southwestern.

I don’t think Rice publishes actual stats, but Rice is most definitely competitive for med schools, providing you put in the effort

Hey, are you talking about that senior from Baker? She’s pretty darn awesome.
