Do schools care about individual sections?

<p>How much do colleges care about individual sections of the ACT? If I have a decent composite but a really low science score how will this affect me? 31 composite, 22 science on this last test. I have a much better science score from another test, but I sent this one to schools already. agh..</p>

<p>And, unless your applying for a science major, they probably wont consider the Science section so important. Sounds like you did fine on ER&M</p>

<p>How about the essay section? Do colleges care that much about it? I got 35E and 33R, but a 9 on the essay--will this hurt me in any significant way?</p>
