I am a National Merit Semi-Finalist and I am trying to decide whether to send my SAT scores or my ACT scores to colleges. I scored a 2070 on the SAT (2140 ignoring the essay), which is high enough to confirm my PSAT score, right? However, I scored a 33 on the ACT, so I'd rather send that to colleges. Will colleges want to see my SAT instead to give me Nation Merit Scholarships? I suppose I could send both, but I'd rather just send ACT if that will work.

If colleges see that you are a NMF, they know that your SAT score was good enough to confirm your PSAT score.

You will still need to submit your SAT score to National Merit Corp.

Some schools require that you submit all scores (both SAT and ACT).

Thanks for the replies! Yes, I’ve already sent my SAT scores to the NM Corp. I don’t think any of the schools I am applying to require all scores, but I’ll double check.
