Do teachers have to write multiple recommendation letters for different colleges?

So, I'm applying to a lot of colleges.... And by a lot I mean 10+ colleges.

(Before you say "Why?"... I'm kind of paranoid and the worst nightmare I have is getting rejected from all the colleges I apply to... So I kept adding match and safety schools and that happened.)

I'm not worried at all about finishing the essays since I can write pretty quick & my English teacher is super supportive & giving me tons of feedback on the essays.

The part I'm worried about is getting the recommendation letters... When I add teachers on commonapp website, and add them to all my 10+ colleges, do they get 10+ invites and have to write the letters over and over again for all my colleges? Although my teachers do like me enough to write me a recommendation letter, I think even if it was your family member of some sort, they would hate you for making you write letters 10+ times...

[TL; DR] So, do teachers have to write each letter for each college I'm applying to?
Also, do counselors have to do the same?

I'm super worried that they might say no to writing my letters if I tell them they have to write that many letters.... Anyone want to help? Please??

No they only write one and it gets sent to every school you assign them to. Just make sure they don’t mention the name of a particular college in their letter and you should be fine (:

@nerdfighter23‌ Omg! That’s awesome. Thank you so much! I tend to be a little more paranoid than other people so I needed confirmation… XD

No worries, I was curious about this too haha
