Do the CC'ers on here represent the majority of the student population?

I have been on here for a couple months, and the majority of the students that I see on here have incredible/unbelievable gpa's, EC's, test scores, etc. Are most of the students out there going to be like the CC'ers on here?

No .

CC represents mostly students among the best and the brightest.

I discovered CC only when thinking about graduate school because, as an undergraduate, due to my local situation (vs. my own grades, ECs) I could have chosen to go anywhere local for undergrad in the field I wanted, apply to one of them and it was as painless an application cycle as it was possible to make it painless.

Let me put it this way, the average student gets around a 1500 on the SAT, 20 on the ACT, and has an UW GPA of 2.9 or 3.1. Most of them opt to go to a cheap, local state school (includes community colleges) if they go to college. Around 20% go to any type of private school, and the ones college bounds seniors flock to are likely not ones you’ve ever heard of.
I believe, and I could well be wrong that state flagships and the top 50 USNWR national universities educate around 10% of the college population. If that’s true, 90% of students are headed to the likes of Georgia Perimeter College, Kennedsaw State, and Young Harris, rather than the Georgia Techs and Emories of this world.

Yah CC’ers are a bunch of try hards lol :dodgy:

Lol
Thanks for the replies!
