Do the SAT scores take a large part?

Hi, I'm planning to transfer to considerably competitive schools. But my SAT scores weren't very good but I know a lot of "competitive schools" look at your SAT scores. So, I was wondering if the SAT scores take a large part when they accept people.

They need to believe you can do the work. Test scores are an indication, so they are very important.

There are schools, though, that don’t require test scores for admission. You can find them by searching for test-optional colleges and universities.

If you have 24 college credits, then the college GPA is more important then the SAT or high school transcript.

Some schools won’t even look at the SATs/not required to send in after a certain amount of credits. But for most, if you transfer as a sophomore, SATs still play a small part in your decision.
