Do the UC's know your 1st semester grade of your senior year?

<p>It's Nov1st-Nov30th for sending the app online, but the semester will end in Jan or beginning of Feb, so I wonder if they will know my grades and use it to judge whether I will get accepted or not in March. </p>

<p>I know that we have to send and official transcript at the end of the school year though, but what about 1st sem. I guess perhaps I will get a B in AP Chem, which kinda looks bad.</p>

<p>No, they don’t look at it unless you appeal to the school after you’re rejected.</p>

<p>Sons both had to have their high schools send mid year (Jan) first marking period grades to each school (other than those that were Early Action and they already heard back.) I think there is a form in the common app or listed on the schools websites.</p>
