Do the UCs want official transcripts NOW?

I made a post a couple hours ago talking about I went to see my counselor about graduating. She mentioned that I need to submit the form to get my official transcripts sent to my school. She made a big deal about it. She said the UCs should have sent out that they wanted to transcripts by now. She said the CalStates have already asked for them. Is there something wrong here? Do they need official transcripts? They never asked for them from me. Do I need to be worried? From my understanding, they only request them once they accept you. Is this true? If not, do I sent official transcripts of my current grade. Obviously I can't send them this semesters grades. This is why what the counselor said really confused me. Maybe she is wrong.

You have to report it to each school i think you can do this by just e-mailing the changes you are going to make...It matters because if a college accepts you they were or are holding you to what you reported as planned so any change needs to be notified

They will ask for your transcript. The reason why they havn't asked for them yet because they haven't sent out acceptance letters, well most of the schools. There are some being accepted to UCI already. But just keep a lookout for those letters. They will only want transcripts if you got accepted. If you are still having doubts about what to do, try emailing one of the schools you have applied to.

Q: When should I send you my official transcripts?
A: Please do not send transcripts or other information to Berkeley unless requested. If we need more information, we will contact you by email. Most students give us enough information in their applications for us to make a sound decision. After admission decisions are posted on myBerkeleyApplication, each admitted student will see their own Conditions of Admission, which will explain the specific documents Berkeley requires.

And UCLA's own site: UCLA Undergrad Admissions: Sending Official Records - Transfer Students

And UCDavis' own site: Transfers: Admitted Students

It really does surprise me how incompetent CCC counselors can be.

Is your counselor new? I mean this in a very nice way...you should inform her of the method UC uses (posted by alansda in this thread) so she is better equipped to help students in the future.
